As a Store Graphic Artist, I created artwork on chalkboards (and sometimes the floor) using liquid chalk. I designed the pieces in Illustrator first, then printed, transferred, and painted the result. Additional artist(s) collaborated on several designs, especially my co-artist: Tori Williams.

At this time, there were two artists in each Whole Foods Market store. Each artist had their own style, methods, and tricks for creating their pieces.

Endcap Chalks

The below would be placed on the top shelf of endcaps (ends of aisles) to further promote the theme of the merchandise displayed.

Assorted Chalks

The pieces below consist of everything from semi-permanent décor pieces to brief sale callouts and calendars. One piece was created as a means to create a tutorial for the rest of the store artists in a team building meeting on how to create chalk portraits.
